Man should I pickup my Alienware 240hz freesync at Bestbuy? It was $250 but I might upgrade to a 1080ti in the future if prices cont to drop. What should I do?

i already have 3 monitors but none of them are HDR or 4k. I do have a PS4 Pro i really want it for that main reason. I don't know if my video card will take advantage of this monitor to it's limit. it's a 1060 ti. Is that alienware TN panel or VA panel?? I already have a 144hz monitor VA panel its 1080p tho. IPS in my opinion is way better.

IPS is great looking, but pixel response for gaming is pretty subpar if you start looking closely.

You mean 120 with interpolated frames (not even that really, just BS backlighting), so you have to disable it lol. 240 is marketing just like TV bull.

So if I plan to switch from rx580 to 1080ti (hope prices cont to drop) then I shouldnt pickup the Alienware that has freesync then?

On Gears of war 4 the rx can hit uo to 120fps but 90fps is stable w/o any fps dropping.
