One Walmart around me has it at $16. The others are at $19 so YMMV.

I find brickseek to be such a pain to navigate and it's been wrong more times the right about availability. Lately I search SD for BS deals whenever I am shopping in WM and hope to get lucky. No more trips to WM specially to catch a BS deal. Now that I got that off my chest... Nice find OP!!

I don'tknow if this is common, or just a one off experience. A few weeks ago I found a walmart near me with something on clearance. BS said they had 2. I went and bought one (don't remember if I saw a 2nd). Anyhow... Went home, later that night I had the BS url bookmarked so I clicked, and the Walmart had zero. OK so I bought one, maybe someone bought the 2nd.
A few days later I ended up having to return the item because it was defective. When I got home (less than 2 hours later at most) I clicked the BS url and it listed the Walmart I returned to as having 1
When I returned the item I told them it was defective, and I didn't even properly package it since it was junk.

My point is that my return added to the BS inventory, even though it was returned as defective.

Again I dont know if thats common, or just a one off experience.

What does this have anything to do with BS?

BS is used for everyday stocks and stores. In the slickdeal mind, only a few are hardly ever available at the clearance price.
I guess the warning is beware of BS on clearance prices as it will be more than likely a return that is damaged or faulty.
Risk vs reward, slickdealers will gamble

37.5 pounds of 30-0-3 fertilizer. $16 is an excellent price for that much nitrogen, and $19 is good. I don 't use high nitrogen fertilizer myself, but I catch the price for them at my local farm and feed store which is why I say this is an SD. Last year an SDer posted Walmart clearance on 10-10-10 fertilizer at $5 a bag, which is the roughly same cost per pound of nitrogen as this deal, plus you get more potassium and phosphorus. The middle number is phosphorus, so you don't want to overfertilize with it either due to algae growth due to runoff. Here's a nice analysis for lawns about what you should use..
