What this poster said.....possibly the nicest tool ever...loads of wrist twisting power and what seems like endless power with the 5.0 batteries.

Not bad. Not as good a deal as the $125 hammer drill/impact driver set. But that one took some doing.

That was a couple of months ago and the 10" miter saw was $150. Good times.

It's definitely YMMV but it's still possible to get this deal. I did it two weeks ago.

Grabbed a few sets from Home Depot at $125. I have literally no complaints about these tools. Have had a 12v fuel kit for a little over a year and have absolutely loved it so a 18v for $125 was a no brainer. If I needed a nice kit for professional use or long term home use, this is what I'd want. It's complete overkill for the average homeowner and the Bluetooth profile aren't something I use often but I'm 100% satisfied with my set.

Heads up!

Old technology. Gen 3 are out. Shorter more powerful. Part number is something like 2804 and there is a One Key also.

Home Depot cleared out their store and online inventory of 2706-20 for $50 bare tool over a month ago in anticipation of Gen 3.

Still a solid set and well worth the money if you can find one of the 125 sets in store.

A YouTuber is saying his gen 3 hammer drill is getting overly hot. We will have to see if more people are having same issues as more people get their hands on them.

I have this same set. Bought it used from a friend, I must say. This is a beast of a set. Only thing I didn't like about it was the clutch feature on the drill. I was used to my older Milwaukee that didn't have a clutch and used to twist my wrist LOL this drill, is much safer and won't hurt your wrist.
