Apple iPad Pro 10.5 in. 256GB with WiFi [shopmyexchange.com]

I realize this isnt as low as the Best Buy offer with student discount coupon ($625). However once you factor in the savings on not paying sales tax, you make out a bit better buying from AAFES. For me, this would be a savings somewhere between $40-$50.

So if you're considering a new iPad, and eligible to shop at AAFES, this is the way to go.

Good Price. Only thing to remember is that iPad Pros will probably be updated either in September or October based on leaked SKUs being registered around the world the past few weeks.

Based on rumos and how Apple has updated their hardware this past cycle, the iPad pro will probably be a rather large update. As it stands the iPad pro will probably gain faceid, eliminate bezels and the home button, and receieve an enlarged updated screen (11" & 12.9") besides the usual update of faster updated internal components. These rumors are reinforced, not just by recent upgrades, but by coding found in the software.

So, in your considered opinion, would you suggest that someone who doesn't necessarily need the newest bestest version on release day should wait until the updated more expensive versions come out or will this price hold up at least until the Black Friday inventory clearance day?

If you don't need a tablet soon then I'd suggest waiting because when the new ones are released there will be more and better sales on this iPad. But if you need one soon then this is a great deal. Better than Best Buy. I'd personally just get the Lenovo flex 6 for 580 to be honest because that thing can double up as a tablet and a full blown computer. But it's bigger and thicker so it all comes down to each individual consumer's preferences.

Losing TouchID is not an upgrade for many. edit, this was in reference to whether to wait for the next model. This model does have TouchID.
