Make sure you check for backlight bleed on your Surface Pro. I got in on one of the earlier Costco SP deals and ended up buying three and returning two of them since the backlight bleed was so bad.

Kinda crazy this thing is still so expensive. I paid about $800 for my Ultrabook (HP Spectre X360) with better specs when the thing launched, and that was over a year ago.

Still a good product, but the price is only barely where it should be. The refresh/new model is coming.

Tax free weekend applies to only school related items or anything else? I am eyeing a bunk bed in Costco, would love to save 50 some bucks in taxes...

They removed laptops from tax-free back to school in my state.

My state only has tax-free on schools supplies under $15, like paper, pencils, etc. And clothes under $60.

It used to be fairly wide open, and allowed for laptops, computers, portable hard drives, printers, tablets, etc. But no more... I guess the tax collector got greedy. The tax-free is very restrictive now. So check your state, some have been tightening up the list of allowable tax-free items.

The good thing about buying at Costco is double the warranty or 4 year warranty if you use their credit card.

Yeah, but you're going to pay $500 more for that bump....which is absolutely ridiculous.

Actually $200 if you can wait a week, this will be on sale for $999 once the August coupon book goes into affect on the 9th

Oh, damn! Thank God for their return policy. I'll take the 128 one back and get this... I think. Thanks.
