Hello (again) my original clarification was removed because I hadn't verified that I do in fact represent proXPN.

The issues the first few hours of this offer were resolved. This deal was set up by a former employee who neglected to let us know. When we saw so many codes being redeemed and no clue why, we went to panic stations. (We're a security company, that's what we do lol)
In any case we got it all resolved with the Daily Steals guys and made sure everyone got their memberships activated.

I am really sorry for the confusion this caused and am grateful it was resolved quickly.

Any support issues please ping us on our support email and we'll sort you out.

Premium accounts can be used on multiple devices/computer. If you plan to use the same account with more than one device/computer simultaneously we recommend to use a different server location on each device/computer to avoid connection issues. You can connect up to four devices/computers at the same time.

Looks like a good deal, but then I read this review.

That 512bit encryption they tout is Blowfish, not AES.
I also could find nothing on their site indicating that they do not keep logs or sell your data. At this price point, it would be reasonable to assume that at least the latter may be true.

I believe from the earlier thread, assuming the information is correct, you can connect unlimited devices, but probably only one device connected at a time. You could contact their email to find out for sure: support@proxpn.com

Glad I could help. Thanks for the TU.

Curiously, almost no response on this deal, when the previous deal got +25 thumbs up for double the price Confused. I guess no one is interested at half price? As far as I can tell, this is the lowest price yet for this service.

I got lifetime vpn from a stacksocial deal 3 yrs ago for $35. Worth it. Tech support responded in less than 1 day for both of my questions.

Only 2 complaint (maybe this is true of many VPN apps?).

1. The pro xpn android app does not auto reconnect upon disconnection. Tech support sent me the website link to help me configure a much more powerful (but less use friendly) open vpn app that had auto reconnection.

2. Many places try to block vpn use. The pro xpn app for android must somehow visit a vpn site for configuration before connecting.

If your work block visiting vpn sites app will not launch. As a work around i can either open app on cellular then connect with wifi, or manually configure the full figured open vpn mentioned in step 1.

I got the lifetime deal last time around after I saw Leo Laporte and Steve Gibson on the Security Now podcast hawking them. It was a great deal and it was well worth it. Back then people were wondering how long 'lifetime' meant, as if they would go out of business. I rarely have connection issues and some servers are very fast.

A lifetime account at $20 it's a no brainer if you currently don't have a VPN. I use the OpenVPN for Android App to connect on Android devices and it works great, though you have to configure the servers and connection manually the first time before you use it.. Same for OpenVPN on Linux.
