As of today (8/1/18), Amex has blocked the ability to add offers to multiple cards. It was a good run while it lasted.

Does the entire purchase have to be on Amex? I have a 50 gift card for staples it would be $50 GC and $50 on amex

No. It can be split. As long as $25 or more is charged on the Amex itself

I believe GC's and prepaid cards are excluded.
Doesn't say anywhere that gift card is excluded

Does anyone know if Staples allows one $100 sale in 4 different transactions? I have it on 4 of 5 cards

Got it on 5/5 on my wife's and 0/5 on mine. Will double dip with the office products offer to make it sweeter (will get the Shell gift cards as that will give me 20% off and will be cheaper than other gas stations around me)

Too bad you can only get on 1 of your wife's 5 cards as of today, AMEX just changed their policy, free meal is over.

Just curious, how do you add to multiple cards? I am trying the multi-tab method, but once I added to one card, other cards are displaying this message --
Sorry about that! The offer you selected is currently unavailable. Please try again
Thx.

He can not do it now, previously you can do it by open multi-tab at the same time, now it is dead.

Any other workaround, then?

That's crappy. Thanks for replying. No point in having it on more than 1 card now I guess.

I was still able to add the $5/$25 Staples and $5/$5 QT deals on each acct with unique SSN, meaning other AU accts that are "variations" that had the offer initially but when offer is added to a primary acct with that SSN, it can't be added to other AU accts with same SSN. Another loophole plugged by AXP.

Thank you for pointing out as I did not pay attention to it.. It only shows up on one card.. Since it was green I did not read it fully.
