I am in the market for this exact bag however I've read some negative reviews about this site.

Anyone here has any experience with this website?

Otherwise, price is very good for the backpack.

I have this pack. I like it a lot, but I never had other travel back packs

- pro compression strap
- the backpack strap is supportive
- built quality

Osprey discontinued the blue color option for the Farpoint series. Jasper Red and Volcanic Grey are now the only two color options offered for the Farpoint 40, 55, 70, and 80 bags.

Here's Osprey's page for the Farpoint 40 bag: https://www.osprey.com/us/en/prod...0_326.html

I am not curious about the backpack's quality. I have the Osprey Porter 46. I know they are well made.
I am concerned about the seller. I am not sure it is a trustworthy company.

I received mine from the last deal. Took about 2 weeks since they are overseas.

Oh wow that's surprising. Thanks for letting me know. I guess I wont wait for the blue any more. I skipped out the the deal last time too thinking I would wait for a blue deal.

I bought the Farpoint 55 blue about a year ago. Decided it was too much room so I sold it. If I had known the blue is discontinued I would have consider keeping it.

No issues with seller. Purchased same item last time it was posted on SD. Got the grey one though for ~92 dollars. Arrived in expected time (under 2 weeks) and in perfect condition. Very satisfied

I bought the grey one though for ~92 dollars as well (from this site) shipped pretty quickly and arrived just fine considering it came from over seas. I'd order from them again, was easy and worked out for me.

it's a 40L bag, how can there be a S/M and a M/L?

That has to do with sizing for strap and how tall you are.

Its and amazing pack and basically carry on size for most us carriers. Quality is amazing can be carried as a backpack or duffel. provides great laptop protection and removal from the front for easy security checks. overall very well thought out amazing bag.

Love the bag. My go to for weekend trips and even 1-2 week trips. Best bag I've used for carryon travel

Similar to others' experience, I got a grey/black Farpoint 40 from last deal with this seller, no issues at all.

In terms of how "amazing" this bag is I'd say it's YMMV. It's a nice bag but not without flaws. common complaint is laptop compartment at the front is not ideal for weight distribution. Also it's lacking some easy access pockets and already carries some weight of its own before loading anything. I personally find the front loading aspect of these travel bags overrated as many backpacking bags are front loading accessible as well (and doesn't matter as much with packing cubes). Plus backpacking bags tend to be lighter, many come with a rain cover, and more importantly a much more robust suspension system and airflow back mesh to keep cool for optimal comfort. Something like an Exos 38 is more versatile and can work as a travel bag, but each has pros and cons. I'd say do some research and see what works best for you.
