This is just antiperspirant, not antiperspirant and deodorant. There is a difference and I would speculate that is why so many negative reviews are posted on amazon about this product. They used to make an antiperspirant and deodorant and it worked great. Then, several years ago it was discontinued and was replaced with just antiperspirant. While the antiperspirant will keep you dry, it does nothing to combat odor. I ended up switching to Old Spice and am very happy with their antiperspirant and deodorant products.

Hi, can you help me better understand?

I thought the purpose of antiperspirant was to prevent sweating in the first place, which thus eliminated you from smelling.

Whereas I understood deodorant to simply try to mask the smell.

If the anti perspirant prevents me from sweating and thus smelling, why would one need deodarant in it as well?

If you don't sweat, how can u smell?

Good question and I'm no scientist lol. What I can say is when degree offered an antiperspirant and deodorant I never smelled or had wetness. When that product was discontinued and I used just the antiperspirant I didn't sweat but odor was detectable. At first I didn't really realize the change...the product looked and even smelled the same. But eventually I realized the deodorant part had been removed. That's when I tried Old Spice antiperspirant and deodorant and the odor issue went away. Again, I'm no scientist but I know from my personal experience I need a product that is an antiperspirant and deodorant.

interesting, will observe. it is true that only recently i sometimes began noticing that i smelled...when in fact my entire life i never ever smelled even after sweating. i have a huge pile of like these from past deals and now i am going to double check if they are AP+DE or just AP.

thanks for the heads up

Agree with the other comments, this stuff is garbage. No odor protection at all.

I could not fine the coupon to clip. The only special offer was their Visa card.

The stuff posted by the OP is trash...what I posted works good but, you need to find a better deal. Also, you all do know that your body gets used to deodorants right? ...you have to change up every few months. Oh, you can go back and forth between three or four.

Is this dead and just not tagged as such?

I cannot find the coupon to clip and it is now only available through third party sellers.
