I needed a higher resolution tablet for cheap and this is perfect. Finally a walmart deal I can use. Thanks OP!

P.S.... as someone with a 2016 and 2017 Macbook Pro and a MSI GT83VR 1070 SLI laptop... I'm no stranger to how weak these tablets are, but my needs are pretty exact. I'm using this with SplashTop to control my micro HTPC for headphone listening sessions.

It's nice to have a tablet display my desktop as a wireless touchscreen monitor and my current cheap, 7in tablet just doesnt cut it. I dont need ground breaking performance as I will only use this as a wireless monitor.

Needs higher resolution, buys 720p tablet... I'm pretty sure you could have found a 1080p tablet of some kind for less than $100.

These aren't terrible for what they are. My niece will be on her 3rd though when my mother buys her another from this deal. She broke the screen on both. Good bit is that I can/have disassembled them and you can disconnect the touch interface layer, and then just use the KB to still interact with it and get data off it.

Looking for a cheap Android tablet to use for ebooks (I don't like my Kindle or Nook and my iPad Mini has only about 6GB of usable space), and maybe play a few seek and find games. Would this be good enough for that?

I picked up a 7" fire on prime day with that purpose in mind.. unfortunately long wait as guess 29.99 minus 10 w/promos+credits to 19.99+tx made it irresistible to everyone and a full month before it'll be back in stock

It's silly but think there's value in a tablet where you open an ebook and can always pick up where you last were. rather than juggling apps on the ZTE k88 I got off eBay last year which has far better specs than this rca for a lower price and no tax..

I don't know why but I don't like my Fire. I don't find it user-friendly. It's loaded with all my books but I just don't care for the weight of it. And no decent games (for me) on it. Maybe I'll just get a Galaxy Tab instead. WalMart is the only store in my town so at least returning this wouldn't be an issue.

Dont be lazy. If you want to prove your point, show me where and no cheating by time traveling.

Also, I dont need 1080p. 800p is good for 10 inches, but again - please compare what you value to mine and tell me how to achieve.

I have been very happy with the RCA Viking Pro I bought about 3 years ago. It has worked flawlessy ever since, not withstanding when I stepped on the screen. It is cracked, touch doesn't work, so I use trackpad.
