Just bought the Corsair H80i v2 for $80. Is this a significant downgrade? Looks like this has 1 fan vs the Corsair 2. Doing my first build... just waiting for a decent RAM deal. Thanks

This is designed to go on the back of the case very close to the CPU socket on most cases. The tubing doesn't need to be that long.

Maybe.
Most places I read recommend set up AIO as air intake, which is not suitable for the rear of the case because no dust filter.
