You all realize MoviePass is still alive, right? There is NO way without surcharges that annual membership won't be affected by, you don't save!!!

If it doesn't work like it did when we first signed up and started using without jumping through hoops and extra fees it's comatose and just pumping to breathe on a ventilator, wouldn't exactly consider that aliveLMAO

It's all based on theater location and price per ticket

How does a non-member gain access to the aforementioned refund? I purchased it with the 5% non-member fee.

Maybe you all want to be patient, because MP is now like broke, no money for people to see movies. However, they are trying! They have been working at times Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday isn't all that bad! I guess it doesn't work all the time, but when it does work you save money every time. And I am gonna stay with the ship! Because if it's anything like M-W so far yes I will save so much more without paying out of pocket for quite a while!

I don't understand why it's location-limited, but if you try everyday using MoviePass for 30 days, even 10% of success rate is STILL gonna SAVE you money!!!

Remember, we DON'T pay surcharges!!!!

I look at it like this. Each full priced ticket averages around $13. That means if you have watched more than 7 movies which equates to $91 and you still ask for a refund, you're a scumbag.

I have much better choice words for people like this but the mods deleted my post. Here a perfect example:

sukhdeepsingh Thanks to SlickDeals guys who suggested to buy it from Costco Deal in December because it was kinda of obvious this thing will go down eventually.
6 months of free movies for me and my wife and now returned to Costco for full refund. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...ies2/peace.gif

I requested and received a full refund for 2 MP's months ago when MP started changing terms and playing games.

People whine about Costco's membership fees, but Costco has always been great with returns and customer service. No other vendor would do this. That's the reason I buy stuff like this at Costco.
yup..is give take

no need to feel bad for C..

costco has generous policy for its members.
for that they charge me membership fee of $100 a month
they make most all of their money onmembership fees...not too much in the product they sell

no need to feel bad for C...
It's per year by the way. not 100/month or 1200/year.
Yes you should feel bad for Costco, because they are eating the costs. They are one of the last 'good' retailers around. If you feel like you watched your worth of movies, just take the loss that you did not get a 'year' worth of movie watching for only 90 dollars.

Would Costco refund on the day of MoviePass rumors to go bankrupt but not yet officially announced? I am pretty sure if they are going out, you gonna hear rumors and chatters long before it's official.

The way I look at it, it's really dumb for annual members to jump ship right now.

They are evidently still working in some fashion, not 100% but definitely over 10% of the time!

Everytime they are working, you would save! And you can use the app and forum resources to gather whether MoviePass is down or not before you drive to the theater so you don't waste time and gas!

And YAY NO surcharges!!! You really would let all that go, and pay full price for "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn' and get back that $80? For anyone not having to pay surcharges, that to me is NOT smart!!!

I would instead patiently deal with MP's "Sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't" problems and when it does work see whole bunch of movies and not pay full price!
