After all the price increases, I went to Philo. 40 channels for $16/month. Also has dvr, and 3 streams. Includes Discovery and History, and those were the main 2 that I needed.

I've been using PSVue for at least 2 years now. The price has slowly been increasing over the years. I started at $30 for the basic package and it is now at $45. I still love PSVue even with the price increase. I've gotten a free trial upgrade for the last 8 months which is nice. They have a good channel lineup (Disney, ESPN, FX, FXX, TNT, NFL Network, Food Network etc.) but also lack some good channels such as MTV, Comedy Central, BET, etc. It has unlimited cloud DVR and On Demand. They also support split screen up to 3 screens at once. Overall I have yet to find a better live tv streaming service but the lack of some main cable network channels is also a downer. The unlimited DVR alone is huge for me. I highly recommend at least checking out the free trial!

This is not true. I've called PsVue support when I had a login issue (my fault, I was using the wrong email). They had excellent support. Sony needs to drop PlayStation from the name. I can't tell you how many people I know think they can't get it because they don't own a PlayStation. We've had it since last fall and love it. We mostly watch it on our TCL Roku TV's and it's great. The picture quality is also great and it is in 1080p as long as you have a good connection. We have their highest package ($79) and that is still nearly half what we were playing with Direct TV ($155 for nearly the same channels but all the dumb fees for DVR and HD on 5 tv's) and we get HBO and Showtime though we do miss the Viacom channels. I hope Vue gets them back. Unlimited DVR and 5 streams is great and the Vue interface is slick. I use a HDHomerun tuner and Plex to watch and record the local OTA channels I don't get on Vue (ABC, Fox and CW). I get the local CBS and NBC affiliates. Vue is also great for sports. I get every sports station imaginable including that local Fox Sports Midwest and the Big Ten Network. Hope this post helps someone.

I would rank playstation vue slightly over YouTube tv. Then hulu plus then direct tv now.

Direct tv now lacks on demand. Also their interface is laggy and slow. And this is running off a nvidia shield.

Good deal. I've been using Vue for two months now after cord cutting and really like it. I am on the tier above basic since it had all the channels I wanted. I've been watching on fire TV 4k, PS4, Chromecast and on the chrome browser. Has worked great on all of these so far.

It's the $50/month tier + my FiOS bill. I'm right around $100/month for the two which is $50 less than Verizon wanted to charge me after my initial two year deal expired.

I've had PlayStation Vue for well over a year now and have really enjoyed my time with it. I've recommended it to friends and family who were looking to cut the cord. Love the DVR system, great selection of channels, and interface.

PS Vue is great. I think Directv now has a few more channel options, but otherwise I think Vue is better at pretty much everything. I get a crazy good discount on Directv though, so I'll probably be sticking with it for a while.

I can't really say how good the selection is since I never use it, but direct tv now definitely has on demand shows and movies.

I'll give it a try. Heard good things with PS Vue but m wife and I enjoy the Sling TV package we have. Has the Hallmark stations as those are the only ones she really wants.
