Those who look at APR should not be allowed to open a credit card. It's a scam by the corporations that run the government. This crap did not exist in the 1800s and early 1900s. Nowadays people are chained to their debt like slaves

If you have the same credit card you did 10 years ago, you've missed out on a MASSIVE amount of opportunities.

Same, I actually had called to see if I could get the offer by upgrading from the Visa to this card. Unfortunately I would not get the offer.

For clarification, what I was trying to do was upgrade my current card, i.e. keep my same account number, yet get the new card offers. I was not able to do that. I was however able to get a new card with the offer no problem. Just couldn't upgrade an older card and get the offer. You were able to upgrade an old card and keep the same account number and get the new offer?

Are there restrictions on redeeming cashback? For example, can you only redeem them in $25 increments like the silly Wells Fargo card?

I also got email from BOA

It might have been your wording....

did you specifically ask them if you were allowed to have this card AND your existing card?

I have so many cards in general, have to look to see what BOA cards I have. Can't beat %40 off $500. Big Grin

Also,

here is direct link (I couldn't get op's link to work)

This is basically the best card for gas and groceries as long as you have $100k of assets at BoA/Merrill Edge.
