PSU Rebate link?

Where is the bundle included? Like it comes in the box?
It's under the "Rebates" link on that page. You'll need to register your product with EVGA first. Not sure if it really ends on August 5. I'm not seeing this deadline anywhere on their site: https://www.evga.com/articles/012...will-rise/

Just what I need! Building a mATX rig and was looking at getting a 1080.

Current price for these at Newegg:
EVGA 1080 SC Gaming - $470
EVGA 750w G3 - $104

That's like getting the PSU for FREE!

Should I bite or wait for the 11 series like everybody says?
Just wait, and here's why...

These GPU's/the tech is 2+ years old on the market. Usually at this point slick deals are around 60-50% of MSRP. fark paying anywhere near MSRP 2 1/2 years later.

New cards coming (announcement is this month = instant price drops)

Base GTX 1180 will be faster than the current 1080ti (historically, it's always faster)

100k surplus GPU's NVIDIA needs to sell in a worsening market, while competing with tens of 1000's used cards...

Because... demand is gone. Miners are no longer buying GPU's. (This important point because that's why prices were so high to begin with. Gamers did not drive up prices to those silly levels)

AND Miners are selling off 1000's of their GPU's now that they can't farm with them.

We are talking historical amounts of used video cards. They have never produced, and sold as many gpu's as they have with these series over the last couple years. The vast majority of those will be resold since they were used for mining, and have no purpose outside of that.

SOOOO... Every week prices are going lower for new, and used cards.

Expect a big drop at the announcement, and bigger drops when miners dump on ebay, and again when the new cards are released.

I've been say the same thing for months, and the genius/shills that debated me each time are quiet now. Why is that? Because prices keep dropping, and will never go back up on these old ass video cards.

Man this is tempting. But all I keep seeing is dropping prices/good deals on the 1070/1080 cards. Who knows if we've hit the bottom yet and who knows what the 11 series will come out as price wise. I'm assuming its guaranteed the 11 series will be MUCH more powerful cards seeing as how they've had 2 years to work on them. The only question is what price will they release them at.

30 day return is great if they do announce the 11xx cards at a good price. If founders are in the $650-700 range they wont be worth it anyway

Looks like the PSU has an active rebate as well, making this 470$.
Will they honor the $20 rebate when it's showing on the receipt that the PSU is $0?

This is a good deal if you need a PSU.

Yes 11 series is coming up but are you willing to wait another month for $20-$50 saving?

or wait 2 years for a $100 savings.

or wait 2 decades for a $500 savings.

You can get an 1180/2080 through the Step-Up program with EVGA, so no need to return it even!

I wouldn't count on a huge jump in performance. The time in between is more due to a huge demand for current cards and not having any competition from AMD in regard to the higher end.

Thats not really how it works. They may be a bit faster but, just because they have been working on them a while doesnt mean they are just going to blow the old ones away. Theres only so much they can do with this technology heh. Usually more efficient and lower temps etc. They also may cost $700.... Just dont know yet. I definitely wouldnt make that assumption.
