If anything, Amazon is so dominant in so many markets that, more than most other companies, it could sustain a pretty massive barrage of negative press without significant hit to its business. Large enterprises aren't going to abandon AWS just because Cloudcam used Chinese servers, for instance. And it's not like you have a lot of control over all of the data that Amazon devices are sending to US based servers.

We have a wyzecam that just points straight down into the baby's crib. Can tell you if she is really awake or just fussing. It is perfect for that use case.

I picked mine up for $20 on prime day when stacking the amex rewards $30 off 60 and whole foods $10 promotions.

Works pretty well considering the price I paid.

But many people have issues using the app, you should read the app reviews before pulling the trigger.

I know Wyze has more features and much cheaper. However, is Wyze really safe to use? Since Amazon cares about its reputation (because they have a lot of money), Wyze seems to be a Chinese company that has a base in the US, and Wyze also uses a lot of third party software, which makes it more flaws for security. I bought a Wyze camera a while ago, but I have not used it since I am still concerned about the security. Could anyone who has been using Wyze give me some advice about it?
