So BuyDig sent me an email receipt for the SK10Y at 499.00 no tax/shipping. Two minutes later my credit card company called to tell me they denied the charge for fraud in the amount of $996.99 at BuyDig.com. After speaking to my credit card company they do not show any $499.00 charge attempt. What is also sketchy is that when I checked out it asked me to fill in some "Visa Verification" info for expedited checkout that included the last 4 of my SSN, and the card info I already entered. I clicked "skip this step". I am calling buydig now.

And this is why Costco and Amazons policies are a bunch of nonsense. As a online business owner myself - This type of crap is unethical. How about being an honest person and just selling your USED item for a USED price instead of abusing policies and using electronics free for a year?

I bought one during last SD and I will be returning it... Really thought a soundbar at this msrp and 'flagship' status would produce great sound more comparable to be able to replace a budget home theatre setup; unfortunately it does not even come close. The sound is very tinny despite messing with the EQ (from phone app) and the subwoofer is not impressive (which is the most crucial part to a HT setup). There is no oomph and you can tell the speakers just aren't able to reproduce 100hz and below without running out of breathe.

Comparing this side by side to a Logitech HT setup (z5500, now disc.) This thing doesn't even come close.. I even hooked up a pair of bookshelf monitor speakers in my living room to compare (behringer 2031ps, with a mismatched cheapo 10" Sony sub) and again it doesn't come tonally close in its depth, clarity and low end response.

For reference my living room is an open concept, approx 15x20, 9 ft ceilings. I probably expected too much from a soundbar. If you have a smaller space maybe this thing will work out better for you. I'd rather eat return shipping than keep this thing. If anyone is in Seattle area and wants to buy this off of me, let me know..

Is this truly wireless? I'd like to put speakers by a projector screen without running a wire from the projector.

I have the sj9 and love it. These are the newer/upgraded version.

There is only one power wire for the soundbar and one power wire for the sub. I placed the sub about 10 feet away from the soundbar.

1. Power for the sub.
2. Power for the sound bar
3. Signal cable(s) for the soundbar

So three cables minimum. Although, the sub can be located away from the screen. I use an optical cable from the TV to the sound bar, but you can also use hdmi.

I had similar issues with my previous oled tv purchase. You have to clear the purchase through your credit card company since it's sketchy and then buydig will call you back and rerun it.

I don't understand the increased charge though. That must just be a mistake on their part.

I emailed customer service and billing. Hopefully we an get it resolved. I've been waiting for these to go on sale again.

Is there a way to mount this to the TV like the SJ8?

Are these the proper wireless rears to accompany the soundbar in this thread? https://m.ebay.com/itm/Open-Box-E...r=1&_rdt=1. 1 left at time of this post, but price seems too good at $21.99.

Heads up, As much as I will like to pick up SK10Y, note that it is a really long sound bar- 58 inches, almost 5 feet. I just don't have the room on the dresser for the soundbar and cable box, side by side. I can put the cable box in front of the soundbar, but it will block some of the sound bar speakers... SK9Y is more reasonable at 47 inch, about 4 feet, but I just can't find good comprehensive reviews on the SK9Y.

Based on the reviews, It looks like SK10Y has a better tweeter, a different (Meridian) tuning, extra 50W, an extra HDMI input, and more control of the speakers via LG Android App and the recent firmware update allows the center speakers (voice/dialog) adjustment. It is also the flagship product of the line up, so probably more firmware updates. Too bad, it is too big for my setup.... Anyways, hope this helps fellow SDers.
