Equate Extra Strength (5%) Minoxidil Hair Regrowth Treatment for Men 3-pack is only $9.85 online at Walmart right now which might be the cheapest since the RONCO spray on hair close outs!!!

You get a three month supply to maintain your thinning mullet and at a fraction of what Rogaine sells for and less than half than usual.

If you're a man experiencing hair loss, schedule an appointment with a dermatologist and get on finasteride now. It is the only medication which stops hair loss. It even causes regrowth in most men. The vast majority experience no side effects whatsoever after a week, and a majority of those that do find that the side effects subside when they end treatment. You can get on minoxidil, kid yourself for a couple years while the regrowth lasts, then watch your hairline do the moonwalk. If you don't start taking finasteride, you'll regret it. The man you see in the mirror will look like a different person once you lose enough hair. Take charge of your health and don't let that happen. The choice is yours.

If you want to take minoxidil conjuctively with finasteride, know that foam is better than liquid. Minoxidil liquid is oily, takes a while to dry, and irritates the scalp. Also plan on rubbing that stuff into your hair once or twice a day forever, or as long as you want the "minoxidil hairs" to last. The extra hairs take about six months to grow, and the same amount of time to fall out once you stop application. I'm fairly certain that most people will eventually get tired of the minoxidil routine after five or so years max. It might be worth it especially if you're young and that extra boost from minoxidil gets you more mileage.

I don't often buy things from Walmart, but $3.33/mo for 5% minoxidil is a pretty good deal! Saves a decent amount versus Costco's normal $27/6mo or whatever (when they can even keep it stock). In for 8 to have me set for the rest of the decade.

And to the idiots threadcrapping with the distortion about it not being permanent or having "side effects," here's how it works: it "pauses" or even "rewinds" hair loss as long as you use it, but it doesn't change the underlying conditions (e.g. DHT buildup) that led to the hair loss to begin with. So once you stop using it, yes, the regrowth goes away, too, and even appears to "accelerate" since you're catching up with your underlying baseline. But minoxidil absolutely works and it works pretty much indefinitely as long as you sustain it. A few bucks a month in perpetuity for a piece of vanity with such significant social and psychological implications for some people is a no-brainer.

Hope you guyz are aware of side effects. It is not necessarily treats your actual issue but they become severe once you stop using this product.

This is verbatim from the package insert:

"In studies with minoxidil topical solution 5%, HAIR REGROWTH HAS NOT BEEN SHOWN TO LAST LONGER THAN 48 MONTHS of continuous treatment in large clinical trials."

Capital letters were added by me.

I have been using it for more than a year now, so far so good. I have adjusted myself to applying it once a day instead of applying twice a day and it's kept my hair just fine.

There was a time in the middle where I left using this for a month or two and noticed accelerated hair fall. But within two months of resuming it, everything was back to the way it was. Just remember, a hair strand (depending on what area of your head) grows and dies in 3 months (or so, read up on stages of a hair) no matter what, so be patient enough before expecting enough results.

Costco has generic version (like Rogaine) foam in stores, this is the liquid version of the solution. Try both types and see which one feels sustainable for you, because you will be in it for a long-as* time.

Note: Rogaine is just overly priced and has not additional benefits (afaik). They used to own the patent and that's why they are expensive (monopoly AMIRIGHT), but since it's expiry, everyone else has started making their own version for cheaper.
