I have these for my Nest cams and they work well. I just plug the USB of the Nest cam directly into the USB port and skip the Nest's power adapter entirely.

FWIW, bought some of these at Sam's Club like 6-8 months ago, and the batteries in them were DOA. I think I also paid $6.81 or $8.81 on clearance.

USB Output: 2.5A (total) - source [apc.com]:
  • USB port 1: 1.5A (max)
  • USB port 2: 1A (max)
So forget fast charging in USB port - a most important requirement for me.

These were a nice idea but had some limitations. Since they were released about 5 years ago, any "old stock" may start to have battery issues (usually last 4-6 years but at least 3 unless defective). A replacement battery will be $25-30 so more than this price.
Many people complained about the 2-prong plugs only. These were not intended for computers -- just for things like your cable model and router, and maybe a home phone cordless base. Unfortunately even some new routers and hubs use the 3-prong power cords now.

At this price I would probably still buy, but I already have 2 (this model and the lower-end '70 which doesn't have the USB ports). It works fine for my cable modem, which happens to be in a different room from my network hub, so a low-wattage unit like this was perfect. It can run for a long time on the battery-- not just a few minutes, since the modem doesn't draw that much.

less likely here as Newegg frequently sells out and APC does refresh the batteries in Newegg stock per the reviews

smart hub

connected to it, until I had a house guest run a blow-dryer on it and fry it

Bought these during the last sale and they worked great for my air pump/filter on my aquarium. Only lasted about 1.5 hrs but that was better than nothing. Thanks op, in 4 another.
