Price just dropped from $294 to $249. There were at least a couple in stock in stores near me.

Brickseek links to the entire Walmart Snapper line. I have two mowers, blower, trimmer and all are great.

The question is how long does the battery last before it wont hold a charge any longer.. And how much does it cost to replace it. Thats a big reason I have not purchased one of these battery mowers.

I have two of these mowers (I have two pre-teen boys who can't handle a gas mower but use these with ease - both mowers were actually bought for less than $249, but I would certainly recommend this mower for $249). I'm on my third mowing season with them now and I have seen no drop in battery life so far.

My yard is a decent neighborhood yard (I can't remember exactly how big). When I had just one mower, I could get about 70% of it mowed with one battery. Now they easily finish it with two.

I also have the trimmer, hedge trimmer and blower, each of which came with smaller batteries as well. So I'm not to worried about batteries. I just wish I could get my hands on the chainsaw for a cheap price!

I was able to buy one online for store pickup tomorrow, so I should get the store price. I have a corded mower and I am relatively happy with it, but would like a decent cordless. Anyone have experience with this mower? Thanks in advance for any information and thanks OP. I'm hoping that another store clearances it even more.

I suggest reading the reviews at Walmart they are very positive as they should be with 60 volts and 4 AH.

Which zip code? Not sure if Discover price protection will allow me to use that price despite being out of stock

Battery lasts for about 35 mins. I had issues with charging the battery, but after couple of phone calls with their warranty service center they sent me new charger which solved the issue.

The better you take care of the battery the longer it lasts. Most people store these in a garage that is not climate controlled. Heat kills batteries, even if they are Li-Ion and don't develop as much of a memory or experience as much of a loss in charge over time.

Snapper is a good brand so replacements shouldn't be hard to come by, but you will not get 20 years out of this like a gas machine.

When it comes to basically disposable string trimmers - battery makes more sense.

Last year I got the green works one for 65 . That was the best deal I have ever got from Walmart . The battery last enough for me to do medium size lawn twice . If you are not in hurry wait maybe the price will drop more on this
