Suggestions for Inexpensive Cell Phone/Data Plan (now that my Sprint 1-yr Unlimited Promo Has Ended)?

I'm looking for suggestions on an inexpensive cell phone/data plan that has decent rates and service.

I was on Sprint's unlimited one year promo plan (cost men about $4.75/mth) with a Moto E4 I bought specifically to port over to get the promo: which has now ended and I'm into the first full price billing cycle ($60/month for 1 phone ... yikes!). I've never paid more than about $30/mth for a plan.

I only have 1 phone and am looking for a plan that will give approx. 1,500 minutes of talk, maybe 150-200 txt messages, I can get by on 1 GB of data if I have to but would prefer more data usage. I can continue using my current phone.

I've was Cricket before Sprint and their cell service sucked.
I'm in NYC.

Any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!

Would it be possible to port out to H2O and port in for a new free year?

Roommate uses Mint just beware the price does change a little after your first offer is up, my advice go for the longest plan the first time as it locks in a low rate.

I recall reading that you can only port back in with another SSN which unfortunately I don't have access to.
\I'm reading little further on this and it appear as if you can port out of Sprint, wait 45 days, then port back in for a second year with the unlimited promo (if it's still being offered in 45 days)?

Thanks, I'll check into that.
As I mentioned above, it may be possible to port back into Sprint unlimited for another year @ $4.75/mth after porting out for 45 days ... Mint looks like a low cost possibility for that.

I haven't tried it myself but plan to if the free plan is still around in Dec. I ported in and out of Sprint 4x in the past year. Also I used Mint for a year before getting Sprint free plan and it was great too.

MintSim is probably your best choice out of the discount carriers at $15/mon for 2GB prepaid for the year. Service quality and tech support was excellent rivalling the major carriers.

Tello. Will work without a new SIM - you should be able use your existing Sprint SIM that is in the E4. This is what I am planning to do when my Sprint plan expires (I was on Tello last year). Because they use the Sprint network, you already know what the coverage will be.

Second.

You can customize a monthly plan with Tello of unlimited talk & text with 1gb high speed data ( + unlimited slow data) for $14/month.
