Why do they still make USB 2.0 drives?

I could understand if it were a small drive, like 8 GB or 16 GB, but 128 GB?

Will it be ok to attach to router for network file transfer etc? Not sure if WiFi is faster than the write speed on this one

Every router I had with that capability suggested a usb 3.0. Try it out with a 2.0 drive you have laying around and save your self some hassle
