It's not the MX500 that was on the prime deal. Not sure how the 300 compares to the 500 - someone else can comment on that?

They are very comparable to the 840s & 850s. I started with Samsungs but switched to Crucial last year. I have 5 or 6 of the MX300s and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever, just praise.

prime deal was MX500 1TB it was low as $100 with amex and other promos stacked MX500 also has 5 yr warranty MX300 is only 3 years.

I have 2 MX300 750gb and they work fine for my day to day computing and some gaming. No issues and they've been up and running for almost 2 years.
