How are these different then the cheap stainless steel ones on Amazon or Walmart, like Ozark Trail? Not trying to troll, I legitimately am curious why it's worth as much as they are charging.

The biggest difference I've seen between the expensive brands like Hydro Flask and the cheap bottle is the availability of lids. I don't think it's as big a difference with tumblers, but I find a difference. I have the 30 oz Hydro Flask tumbler, and I have by far, the best lid that takes a large straw and fits incredibly snug that I have found for any tumbler. As far as keeping the drink cold, there isn't a difference. The difference in available lids (sports lids) is a much bigger concern with the bottles. I have a couple of Ozark Trail bottles that were cheap and function well, but I can't find any sports lids at all. It's a deal breaker for me on the cheap bottles.

They have a fancy logo on them...

Maybe the rubber seal on the lid is higher quality? Better warranty from the manufacturer? From my experience no difference at all.

Agreed. The lid is much better but everything else is the same.

A newbie question that I think the answer is NO. But I'll ask anyway. Can you use the better Hydroflask lids on the other brand bottles?

Yes if they are the same size cups. The rtic and yeti lids I own has an annoying suction to it which makes it harder to remove. You would call that better quality but it serve no purpose other being a PITA.

Bought these the last time they were on sale. We use them almost everyday at the office and at home. These products all generally serve their purpose and work well. There are lots of comparable products from Ozark to yeti to thermo but we like Hydroflask. It is in the higher value range but we like their color selection, customer service, quality and durability. As mentioned before these have the best lids.

Had one from Dick's sports. Very hard to open lid. Just sit there collect dust.

Any idea if these fit in the car cup holders? I love my Hydroflasks but that is the main gripe I have with them.

From their website, but description says 20oz.
Built to fit in most cup holders with just the right feel in your hand, the Hydro Flask 20 fl. oz. Tumbler is destined to become your favorite cup for any out-and-about adventure.

I'm interested also.. I have a few of the ozark trail ones and I'm happy with the function of the cup, but that little plastic seal on the lid constantly pops out of the seat and I have to reset it every time I take the lid off.
