I received the same email...only for the link to state that I am not eligible for the offer.
Great target marketing there, Amazon.

I got this too but wasn't sure if it meant buying Amazon GC using an Amex card that has membership points, or converting $100 of existing membership points into Amazon money.

So ~14,285 points for $115? Meh, still less than .01 per point in value. There are better ways to use your MR points.

You just use one point and pay the rest with a credit card.

If you have a chance, could you share some better redemption opportunities which offer better value? I have over 50,000 pts myself.

If that's the case then go for it. The way I read the promo I thought you had to fund it all with points.

Travel typically offers the best value. For example, transfer points to partner airline miles where you can get more than $500 worth of airfare for 50,000 points.

At a minimum, many gift cards (ex: Home Depot) redeem at .01 per point for a $500 value.

50,000 points at Amazon redeem at .007 per point for $350 so it is one of the weaker redemption values for MR points.
