Braided line - 150yards for 5 bucks ! You can't beat that, this is Dick's sporting goods flash sale.

I have not personally used this line, but I am sure it won't be as bad as spider line.

You're welcome!

Worst braid I've ever used. It all broke under it's rated strength. Wasn't as big of a deal on the heavier stuff but made the lighter test really tough to use.

Only tried it because I got a bunch on a similar deal a while back. won't buy again even at this price.

Just curious, what were the situations and ratings you had breaks? I have never used before but couldn't pass up. Would like to know so I will be wary depending on the scenario. Also, anyone try the KastKing braid? I feel you can't trust any reviews on Amazon or other sites anymore.

I've tried a lot of braid, they all snapped except for Sufix. A $15 spool lasts years. Done.

I have the kastking super power line in 8lb on my ultralight combo 10lb on my light action combo
12lb on my medium action combo mostly used for bass caught a 30lb carp on it that was a 15+ minute battle.

I used this line for 2 years an caught thousands of fish an is the only braid I will buy. All problems we're user error mostly casting way to hard or in heavy winds the line only bleeds a tiny bit at first an keeps it's color extremely well over time. I will give it a perfect 5.

I've purchased this exact line on sale in 10lb, 15lb and 30 lbs. I have not been pleased. The 10 lb was particularly bad. I think the line is too thin and it is weaker than advertised. While trying to tie standard knots, it would snap occasionally (and yes I know how to lubricate and tie knots properly). Furthermore, I generally use a fluorocarbon leader. The 10lb braid was so thin that it would slip through by brain to mono knot and even cut the mono! After 2 trips I threw away all the line and replaced with my favorite - power pro super slick 10lb and have had no more problems (not one!).
The 15lb is not as bad but I also lost trust in it. It felt bad to throw it away but when you lose lures and fish it quickly becomes too frustrating and costly to use it. Then I later went to my local fishing store (the tackle shop in Portland Maine), the owner expressed similar frustrations and actually stopped carrying the product.
I have not had any problems with the 30lb, which I use for deep sea fishing (just drop to bottom and jig), I cannot speak to its reliability for casting, etc but I will not be trying it.

I'm an avid inshore fisherman and will only use power pro super slick, suffix, or fireline. I've tried almost all of the line out there.

I was using these lines for striped bass fishing on the Maine coast with top lures and jigs.

I do love the seagar fluoro leader and use that exclusively,

I ordered 4 spools of 50lb and 80lb. I've heard bad reviews on the lighter test stuff... but frankly I've heard it on all light braid. Braid has no stretch and when loaded, will easily snap. I've had 30lb power pro snap when casting a mepps musky killer lure... had a minor backlash cause it. Watched my brand new lure sail off into the lake. It happens with lighter stuff. So, I only use heavier stuff now and never have any issues. I have heard that this stuff is succeptable to snapping off due to small abrasions or nicks... so be careful.

Kastking braid 4 strand is bad. Not smooth and would recommend power pro. The seaguar is okay but not the best braid but for 5$ is a steal
