Almost identical specs. Dell is IPS, Acer is VA panel.

Thanks. I was thrown off cause the review on Costco's site said it was an IPS screen.

Also, I think this is $599 on newegg right now.

Your link is blocked. I'm guessing the Newegg one is the 1080p. This model is $899 on Newegg.

I wonder why it got blocked as it's a direct link, unless it picked some cash back related linking

I could have sworn it was 1440p but now that I look, it is $899.

The one at newegg is better for gaming. G-Sync and 144, can be overclocked higher.

The resolution is only 1080 ultrawide though and the Costco one is 1440 ultrawide.
It depends on what you want to go with, but I prefer the higher resolution with hopes of overclocking it to 144hz. Most people will be fine with a refresh rate of 120hz and up though.

Yeah, it is tough to drive 144hz at that resolution, in DOTA2 my 1080 struggles a little with 1440p at 144hz...this of course is higher than that.

Are there any monitors better than this in this price range? I just bought this from Costco like a week ago and will be getting the price difference, but after using it I'm not sure if it's worth it or not.

I'm mainly looking for 1440p (Normal or ultra wide) and G-Sync.

If this was sold at Costco Canada with just straight currency conversion I'd be all over this like white on rice.
