Orca Coolers on sale at Tractor Supply Co

+46 Deal Score

Tractor Supply Co has select Orca Coolers on sale. Ship to store is free up to 75 qt size, otherwise your shipping may make it a YMMV deal.

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc...-TY-_-Orca

Orca 26 is $149-$179 NLA
Orca 58 is $247 NLA
Orca 75 is $275 NLA

Other Orca Clearance items:
Chaser is $9.99
Tumbler mug is $19.99

And yes, I know this starts a debate on overpriced coolers, but for those shopping for high end rotomolded coolers, Orca does offer a lifetime warranty vs. Yeti 5 year.

What's orca is that some sort of knock off on yeti?
I wouldn't say knock off. More "alternate brand" just because of the negative connotation of the knock off phrase. I have the 58qt size and filled it up with ice at the beginning of a beach trip and only had to top it off once during the week. It was kept outside on the porch as well. Definitely work as advertised and are made in Tennessee.

How do these compare to RTIC coolers? You can get a 45qt for $190 any day, 65 for $240.

These make Yeti look like the knock offs. Orca coolers made in the USA-cheaper than Yeti- life time warranty- better ice retention and bear proof. You could wait till black friday where they have really great deals. I bought their largest cooler which was the 140qt for less than $300. Granted all the coolers they were selling were Black. Which I would rsther have over white any day. Do some research on comparision and you will see almost every site will pick Orca as #1. I have like over 10 chasers which is my go to cup for everything.

I must agree most websites say that orca is superior to yeti is real world tests. I did tons of research! Plus orca's lifetime warranty vs yeti 5 yr. that alone should push you to buy an orca. Not to mention it's cheaper and made in the USA. What's better about yeti again? I have an orca and I love it. My only complaint is it's a big bulky and heavy cooler for my day trips to the lake.

Wow, you couldn't be more wrong. How is the company that invented roto-molded coolers (Yeti) be the knock off?

Orca coolers were made by Jackson Kayak, who now makes their own Orion brand.

If you're too cheap to buy Yeti, that's fine. But Orca is not superior to Yeti. The sites that recommend Orca all use cost as their deciding factor, not performance or quality.
We found the guy who overpaid for a yeti.

And Engel was actually the 1st to make roto-molded coolers. Maybe yeti perfected them, but certainly not the first and certainly no longer the best. Everyone has caught on to the technology and all these coolers for the most part are just as good as the Yeti for less money.

Agreed that Yeti is not the knock off brand, but it's been proven that it's not measurably better than the other top brands which cost less. Not sure where your argument stems from but Yeti is the apple of rotomold coolers. Big name fancy advertising but not really worth the price tag. Rotomold is easy to copy and it's not hard to make a quality one either.

It's just one test, but the yeti was not really even top 3 in this ice retention comparison. Orca knocked it out of the park.

You can fast forward to about 12 minutes to see how much was left in the coolers after 5 days.

why is the lifetime superior to the 5 year warranty?
orca only started in 2012

"lifetime warranties" always give me pause. It does not make any sense.
Well let's see. One warranty is good for the lifetime of the purchaser and the other is good for 5 years. I think it is pretty obvious why one is better than the other.
