I have this and it works ok but the stupid brushes stopped spinning (they use a vacuum suction based system. There is a YouTube DIY video on completely pulling it apart because there are some steel bearings that get wet and rust/corrode until it seizes tge brush mechanism . I spent a half hour pulling it apart and cleaning it and putting it back together. I used it that day and then went to use it again a week later and it was seized again. Still haven't gotten around tp pulling it back apart but this thing me I'm guessing I'll be putting some lithium grease in the bearings.

I did this deal last Wednesday with the 15% coupon that was good for that day only. The10% off is from Hoover and shows up in your cart at checkout. I've been waiting on a deal for one of these. I hope this model is a good one.

The same model on Amazon is $139.99.

I bought this one from Amazon (different part number but same thing) and it's a great deal at this price. Let's just say that with two kids both in diapers this has successfully cleaned many different things from my carpets, and it doesn't leave them too damp either. The one caveat is that is heavy with a full tank of water, so my wife carries the water and steam cleaner up the stairs in separate trips.

Do you recall how long you were using this device before the seizures started happening?

I'm on the fence, but I'm itching to pull the trigger because I need a new vacuum and I'm hoping this one lasts at least a year without issues

I just purchased this and went at looked at my Cleaner and it was the same model. I had the same problem with the brushes stop spinning. I owned it several years before this happened and it got a lot of usage. This 1 I wont take to my parents or let the family borrow Wink
