Yes, limited availability due to B&M...

Just noticed the 2400G is at $139 now: LINK [microcenter.com]

Also seeing the 2700x at $269 again: LINK [microcenter.com]

Honorable mention of the 1800x at $199: LINK [microcenter.com]

I did see in a quick search that someone may have already posted the 1950 Threadripper is back down to $599: LINK [microcenter.com]

All of these still come with the $30 off with a motherboard promotion.

I believe these are all prices we've seen before, but have been popular price points.
Just watching to see the price change. May still be worth holding out for a while, or even Black Friday for those not in a rush to build/upgrade.

Staples is really hit or miss, depending on the chat rep you get

Also depends on Staples availability, they don't have a huge selection, even online. For instance, when I was shopping they had the Ryzen 5 1600 but not the 2600.

These are good price points and really make it easy to choose AMD over Intel.

OP mentioned black friday. Does Microcenter do great black friday deals?

I bought the ryzen 2600 for my little cousin 3 weeks ago at $149 plus $30 off a mobo. Got it with the cheap asrock ab350 pro 4 for $220 total minus $20 Mir on the mobo so total price for combo was $199.

Crazy cheap for a pretty decent combo.
They also had the cooler masterbox lite 5 for $45 - $15 MIR so everything was $230 before tax.

Added Adata 480GB NVMe drive ($90 from Rakuten), 16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 ($145 from Newegg), and an evga 550W PSU (my backup PSU) to complete the package.

Now waiting for a deal on a 1080 so I can pass on my 1060 6gb to him. He's using my ancient GTX 960GT for now.

I can't believe how cheap the ryzen combos are. I might have to upgrade from my trusty i7 2600k setup. It still rocks in most games, even at 1440p.

Just watch out when you order online & pickup in store. Micro center are scammers. They will change your order upon pickup.

They were giving me a cheaper processor & a open box case for the same price.

You're too quick to overlook Hanlon's Razor - "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

You probably got a rookie parts puller that could barely spell "case".

You are lucky. They swapped my case for lower priced open box item & did not even inform me. When I got home & opened - missing fans!

For the processor I caught them at the store giving me a RYZEN 2200 vs the 2400 I ordered. I am done buying from this guys.
They also tried to upsell a power supply which much more expensive than Best Buy.

Good luck - I will stick to more honest retailers.
I am worried now that they might given me refurbished motherboard & cpu.

This was the their store in Cambridge, MA

If the eBay coupon comes back around just apply it towards one of these processors.

Though with AMD you will be spending more on higher quality RAM if you want optimal performance.
