Thank god it is the marketplace. I was like WHAT? A camera store selling power tools? That's my kind of store!
Just like that furniture store selling iPads.

their marketplace is weird. it's camera store that also branches out into tools... kinda like beach camera is selling luggage and leggings

It's not the brushless one though. But still a good tool.

HD has this or $99, if anyone doesn't want to risk marketplace sales.

Yeah, not the brushless one, I don't know if that matters or not. I have the brushless version and cut down all but the trunk of a tree with it and a pruning blade. Great saw and not as rough of a cutting action as some claim!

This or the Worx 20v axis tool with battery and charger (that also folds info a jigsaw position) for $80-85?

Just using for occasional minor low voltage and AV projects, Like drywall and ceiling tile speaker cutouts, gang boxes/wall plates, maybe cut or trim some 1/2 to 3/4 mdf / particle board, wood shelving....

I have dewalt batteries and chargers already but the worx looks interesting and comes complete...not sure about quality tho..?

This is the Worx tool for reference only, frys has for $84 currently and ive seen for less often enough

One looks like something you'll find half broken at a yard sale for $5 in 3 years, the other looks like it'll still be showing up for work every morning.

I'd bite if this was a brushless model. But it isn't. Totally not worth it. I'd rather pay $40 more for brushless XR.

The brushless runs about 30% longer on a given size battery than the brushed. Standard homeowners or people with multiple batteries will so ok with this. I prefer the brushless but at this price it's pretty slick.
