This is the 13.3" version of the popular 11.6" laptop at Walmart from past deals. Price was $199. Specs are exactly the same as its little brother. Seems like all colors are available.

Rep for good post. Applause

I have been tracking this 2-in-1 laptop for 2-3 months, and I like to share a few tips with other SDers. Peace

A. Prices

1. Last month, I think 11.6" version dropped to $119 and 13.3" version dropped to $149. This month, 11.6" returned to $149 and 13.3" returned to $199.

2. If anyone needs a laptop now (e.g. back to school), 13.3" at $179 is a good price. I have a few laptops, so I will wait for 13.3" at $149 again.

B. Features

1. It is a cheap light-weight laptop with 13.3" 1080p screen. Other $150-250 laptops usually have only 11.6" 720p screen.

2. N3350 CPU & 4GB RAM can handle Microsoft Office, remote desktop, web browsing, and light gaming, but not 3D FPS gaming.

3. It has 3 next-gen features which I like - USB-C to connect faster devices, fingerprint reader to login quickly, and M.2 slot with lid for easy SSD upgrade.

4. It can convert to tablet mode, and it includes a pen ($50 value). It also includes 1-year Office 365 ($70 value), but a few reviewers said license keys did not work.

C. Reviews

1. Some reviewers said laptop hung and keyboard was unresponsive. Other reviewers said they waited a few hours to complete Windows updates and problems went away.

2. Some reviewers said 32GB internal Flash was not enough to complete updates. Other reviewers suggested add USB Flash drive or delete some apps to complete updates.

3. I suggest add 256MB M.2 SSD for $60 and reinstall Windows. This will solve problems 1 & 2 and give you a good laptop that boots Windows and loads programs quickly.

That CPU is a dog. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu....Hz&id=2895 Look for 1500+. A 5 yr old Celeron 2950U is 50% faster.

I have the black 11.6", about a week in with it, m2 ssd arrives tomorrow for it. So far I like it ok, performance isn't quite as good as I'd like but I will make final judgement on that once I get the ssd there. The black one i gorgeous btw, build quality feels extremely solid, if not a bit heavy, I like the weight though. It is a fingerprint magnet, although part of that is because I'm constantly using hand lotion due to eczema. This deal tempts me, wonder if I can unload the 11.6 for what I paid and get this

Well if you bought it at Walmart a week ago, then I don't see why you can't take it back & purchase the later model. Does the fingerprint sensor work good & what's the exact weight?

Speaking for the 11" version.

Had a couple bumps with my first one and ssd. Have since replaced it and now it works great.

Honestly cannot complain for what it is. You can't find something that offers half these features with anymore power under the hood for the same price.

Does this have palm recognition? Like, if I were to use this as a notepad to write notes down, could I rest my palm on the screen and have it only pick up the pen?

Highly doubt it. It doesn't have enough CPU, GPU or RAM to render 3D objects.

I have the 11 inch one. I use it for portable PC to do scripting languages on.

It runs Linux Mint pretty well, but the track pad doesn't work on Linux unless you build your own.

I'm pretty happy with my purchase

Actually I had it sitting in the box for over a month stewing on opening it or giving the deal to my brother. The finger print sensor works very well, it hasn't failed a read yet. The best I could do on the weight was weight myself while holding it vs not. It is between 2.6-2.8lbs averaging out weighing a few times

One the of the coolest things I found is with the active stylus and sketchpad app, it only recognizes the stylus for writing, you cannot make marks with your palm or finger. My 5 yr old was just drawing on it for 20 mins and it came out looking like anything else she has drawn on real paper. sorry long story short, you can rest your fingers, palm, face, etc on it and it will still only pick up the stylus

There are two 11 inch ones, the DTLAPY-116-1 and DTLAPY-116-2. The 116-2 is the 'good one' with Wireless AC, M2 SSD slot, USB-C better CPU and maybe a few other differences. I just checked and the 133-1 has the same specs as the 116-2 which makes this an okay deal. Can not remember is RAM is soldered or can be upgraded though.
