Again. Points are not dollars. You have to wait a week to get them then they expire after 2 weeks.

Some of these seem to be 10-15% more expensive than on Amazon but others are the same or a dollar cheaper. Be sure to check other sellers then decide if the $40 in points make it right for you.

Members get $40 CASHBACK in points when you spend $40 or more on purchases sold by Marketplace seller DigitalShopper. Points awarded in 7 days and valid for 14 days. Max 2 times per member Valid through August 11, 2018 11:59 PM CDT
$40-45 [sears.com]
Keyboar with a mini-trackball [sears.com]
Keyboard with smart card reader [sears.com]

Keyboards near $20 [sears.com] add 2 to total $40

For an example of a very iffy deal, you could get 2 of these Logitech keyboard/mouse combos [sears.com] for $22.24 each, so $44.48, then $40 back as points. But Amazon $others sell them for under $15, so $29 for 2.
Sears, $45 OOP with $40 in points vs. Newegg $29 OOP. Its like you're buying $40 in points for $16. You have to decide if you can benefit from that. If you can easily find something to spend the points on that you would have bought anyway, then you can think of the combos as costing just $2 each!
As always with SYW points deals, it's all really just 50% off. Less if you overpay. More if you use a coupon when you spend the points.

Did you ever find a replacement mechanical/backlit keyboard for your daughter? My husband managed to spill a beverage on his old mechanical keyboard and some of the keys quit working. So he's been using the one I got from Bestselling, but he hates the rainbow, lol. (So he just turned off the backlight entirely.) Just wondering if you found anything cool from DigitalShopper. I ordered a laptop bag from them earlier in the week but still have a slot open for another deal if I want. Thanks!

No, I'm still looking for a green keyboard. I think there was an illuminated one early in the week but I've been spoiled by the prospect of one with mechanical switches. If you decide to toss that one, let me know. We could open it up and swap the LEDs like we did with her fans.

I bought the dishwasher-safe keyboard [sears.com]. My wife is a teacher and has to let students touch her keyboard sometimes. She hates that because the students are often diseased and spread their bodily fluids around without thought... (type-rub their eyes-sneeze-then type). There are several waterproof keyboards you might consider for your husband so he can freely continue with his beverage preferences. Technology presses onward. Not mechanical though.

I saw that olive canvas laptop bag [sears.com] and seriously considered it.

Did you see the 14K white gold chain [sears.com] ? That would have been nice, but it changes into an ethernet card when I put it into my cart.

There's a ton of stuff there but it seemed expensive.

I thought you were exaggerating when you said that white gold chain turned into an ethernet card when you added it to your cart...until I tried the same thing with the same result.

Good God, Sears is farked up.

Sears is probably going to go bankrupt next year. Even this year. Spend your points quickly. I placed a pick up order at one of my local sears, Swung by a week later and found out they closed the store.

Now I can't pick up my battery and sears customer service is useless. I might have to do a credit card charge back to get my money back.

I hope not Frown Only for the shop your way points. If you do the Winit and sweeps, gas buddy, uber, it adds up quick. I've gotten lots of nice stuff free or crazy cheap.

Take it with a lot of salt. I think they will likely file for bankruptcy, but I wouldnt set your heart on December 31. I'd guess sometime 2019, maybe before all their bonds mature.

There's 2 Sears stores here in Chicago suburbs that are currently being rebuilt/remodeled. If they are going bankrupt soon, it seems like a lot of wasted time, money and effort.

Winit seems a bit tedious and the app not too stable.

That keyboard doesn't seem to generate points back,
nor can points be used to purchase.
Maybe you did not intend that... Smilie
