Nice deal. I have two of these and have the thinnest bezels of any monitor I have had to date. They don't have slots for dells soundbar addon like most previous ultra sharp monitors. The dell sound bar is actually nice so for now they are just sitting on the desk.

I too have an unhealthy obsession with my precious monitors Wink But good info, thank you

Best deal is to get the Dell $200 gift card when it's available, combine with cash back, then use price protection.

Last time this deal was around I got $200 GC, $100 CB, and paid 379 after PP, making it nearly free since I had use for the Dell GC

I still like the Dell P series better with the sturdy construction designed to handle office/business requirements.

The thin bezels feel cheaply made, is this one different?

Is this Dell really worth $170 more than the recent sale on the 27" LG 4k monitor from newegg which was $250 after coupon?

I love this monitor, but much better in windows 10 due to scaling options not available in W7

I purchase these for the company I work for. We've deployed about 30+ so far and they are beautiful. One thing to note. Make sure the firmware is upgraded on the monitor to the latest version. In the original firmware, there was a DisplayPort bug that caused artifacts and sleep issues. It was resolved with a later firmware.

My 24" IE didn't feel real cheap, but it was light, and the bezel didn't offer much protection. I'd imagine this one would be the same. and I'd be very careful with it. I was moving a small power brick, and dropped it from around 4" above the bezel. Didn't think it hit that hard, but it cracked the screen on the inside. The outer glass/plastic was fine, but there's a line that runs down it, and damage to the top where it hit. 1st monitor I've broke (out of a dozen +).

That being said, I'd get another Dell IE if the price was right. Best looking monitor IMO. Hopefully, they'll make something around 32" soon.

Comes out to $437 after tax for me from Costco. Newegg may be almost $20 cheaper as long as you're in a state they do not charge tax in.
