Yes cdkeys isn't really a grey market, it's all direct sale unlike things like G2A where it's a marketplace and shady af. CDKeys is legit, I've bought many things on PC and XB1 over the years and it's all been fine.

Isn't CDkeys like, the most reputable of these types of stores? I've heard they're legit and not pond scum like G2A.

Don't get me wrong I used to dabble in the pirate game but at this stage when it comes to music, movies, games, whatever... I'd rather spend my money than my time. Anyone that wants to argue that pirating media is just as easy and turnkey as buying from iTunes, Steam, etc. is lying to themselves and I won't try to change their mind. I've been there back when I couldn't afford to pay up. I get that it's not hard, just not as quick and easy.

CDKeys is only like G2A in that it doesn't support the developers. Besides that it's way less shady on the consumer end.

If your money doesn't support the devs then why even bother spending money at all? there are other ways

Oh I'd much rather have a legit license. Torrents and such are a hassle.

I wouldn't completely say it's legit but it's trustworthy enough to purchase games from. Two years ago they had Xbox live subscriptions for around $30-35 and I bought 3. When my first year was over and I tried to use the second live code it didn't work and neither did the third code. Tried contacting cdkeys no answer MS couldn't do anything for me either. Cdkeys went as far as deleting my account cuz I emailed them a couple of times. In the end I never bought subscriptions from them but I did create a new account and got rise of the tomb raider when it went on sale from them not to long ago. So take my experience with them as you will. Hope it helps someone. Cheers!
