Good video review from TechTablets.com [youtube.com], sounds like a very solid machine for the price, says it's "the best of the Apollo Lake notebooks" he's reviewd

This looks like a better deal than the direkt-tek, no? Has anyone got this before?

I think this is the better deal. The N3450 is a significant upgrade vs. the N3350 on the direkt-tek. Haven't used this before but the specs are right.

I have the Jumper 2 and just a warning about the terrible build quality. Mine basically never worked properly without being plugged in and the shipping back to China was insanely expensive. I'm not alone with these problems as I found out after. Buyer beware.

Yeah, thats the only thing of my concern. Shipping back would probably cost an entire machine 😂

Depends on what you're looking for, it doesn't have touch so that's a con if you want a touchy-laptop, but it's a 4-core CPU and almost twice as fast, and it has 2gb more RAM, so it's better performing all the way around, but a little more expensive and lacking touch

1.1 quad core 2mb cache sounds painfully slow with windows 10.

Def a better deal from a spec standpoint. The extra $40 (~$20 when you factor in taxes) is worth the boost in CPU, storage, and RAM. It is missing the touch convertible formfactor and the USB-C port. Main thing is whether it is worth waiting for the long ship from China and risk getting a bunk unit that will be a pain to return. At least the Direkt-Tek is shipped domestically and easy to return to Walmart.

Wow, that resolves the shipping and return issue. This is almost worth returning my Direkt-Tek for. If only it was a convertible because that's what I use the Direkt-Tek most for.
