Note: Snapdragon 450. So it's slow.

then go pay $1,200 for iPhone X :-)
....Or buy the Metro 6s, which is half the price and a lot faster.

Have u had a phone with Sd 450?
My stylo 4 is smooth and quick. It ain't as quick as my note 8 or essential phone.

ha ha. u really love iPhone
I like a good deal. A Snapdragon 450 for 50 more than a 6s is not a good deal IMO, regardless of screen size or ram. The 6s performs substantially better than the Galaxy S7. The Snapdragon 450 performs similarly to the Galaxy S5. It's rough.

Yes. IMO, The Stylo 4 is far from quick. Does not compare to the 6s, which is essentially identical to the iPhone X in day to day performance. Whereas the Stylo 4 drops frames all the time. Geekbench (and graphics benchmarks) tell the tale.

probably boot loader locked. I would avoid it as well. didnt expect they would start doing this after the stylo 3 plus but there's not enough reason to get this if the stylo 4 is free with promo. That too is bootloader locked and slow.

I dont care about geekbench or games. I just use my phone to surf the web, Netflix and YouTube. Plus, the 6s is too damn small and has only 32GB.

That's the thing: Snapdragon 450 is slow enough that all of those things will be slower than they should be. Surfing the web will be incredibly painful - Chrome runs like shit on the highest end Android phones on the market. SD450 will browsing that incredibly painful.

When I say dropping frames, I'm not talking about games. I'm talking about the GPU not being powerful enough to drive the screen resolution. Expect uneven performance when swiping around.

Picking screen size and storage before bare-minimum levels of performance is silly, IMO. There's really no use case that is served by a (Mobile, obviously Intel X86-64 is a different story) processor that performs like one from 2014. Phones are only starting to get fast enough that the year-over-year performance gains have little user benefit. That wasn't the case in 2014, not by a long shot. This phone has a level of performance that wasn't acceptable back then, let alone now.

But hey, it's your money. You've been warned.
