First post. Please be kind.

Looks like some of the Planet Fitness gyms are having their $99 for a year promotion again.
(No commitment / No Startup Fee / no $39 annual fee)

According to the webpage of the gym around me, the offer expires August 15th.
Should be ymmv. Please check the clubs around you for details.

Doesn't look like there are any clubs in New York City running that promotion. Is there any way to submit to a newsletter from them?

Seems like an employee of PF posting this to drive traffic to their site. They can at least post specific locations involved, if any!

Is this $99/year deal for classic membership or black card?

It's not a promotion email. On their website you can check what each club has to offer in the view store detail.
Zip code 27106 for reference.

Really, if so they are not showing on their website? For example to one in Mooresville, nc.

Former pf employee here.

Most clubs run the 99NR promotion once or (maybe) twice a year.

Usually around Christmas/New years

It is for the standard white card membership (home gym only, no amenities, guest passes)

It was a good seller because you could pay in cash and not have to worry about having a recurring payment.

ymmv, but at our club, we didn't even have the option to give someone this promotion unless it was during the time we were officially offering it.

This deal is the only one i would really consider because of the cash payment. I find it sooo stupid that its widely accepted for gyms to pull payment off your banking account. Like no one else does this, but it seems to be the only option to pay for gym membership. Its weird as hell.

My planet fitness in Orange, Tx has 1 year prepaid for $199 -_-. It seems random small towns in tx have a deal, for example Victoria tx is $119
