I'm a bit at a loss as to how this works in practice.
I have the JBPP3 for Switch, so can gather friends around my big TV in my livingroom.

But I can't imagine asking friends to hang out in my study (where my desktop is) or in front of a laptop.

Do people somehow Chromecast the PC version or use a steambox or...?

Many people have their pcs hooked up to their TV with HDMI, or you can use a steam link

You can connect an HDMI cable to the TV from your laptop

How easy is it to play local multiplayer on the PC? Are multiple controllers/keyboards/etc. needed?

Each player just needs a mobile device. (Phone or tablet)

I have 3 already and really enjoyed the murder game. 4 looks to be a bit lacking on some exciting games. Anyone have any feedback on your favorite pack?

Most people these days have laptops they can easily hook to the TV.

It looks more 'meh'. Read steam reviews

Been looking for the series to go on sale, thanks for the heads up OP!

great price and fun game series! I actually still have my original CD from a preview version of the very first game released in the 90s!

hoping to pick up the rest of the series this cheap too! don't usually see these go on sale below $10 too often
