Is this a new or previously owned?
Will it be okay for Highschool students?
Thanks.

As far as I know its brand new. Its from their main site not the refurb/warehouse site.

It should be fine since most high school use cloud based "software" eg. google docs so it should be ok.

I like the fact that is 14 vs 11 inch screens. don't expect to play graphics intense video games, or do video editing as this is not what its intended for. Its light weight and 4GB. Most budget laptop I've found are like 2gb with 32 gb of storage for about the same price.

i got this for my middle schooler so we dont fight over the mac, lol.

If for homework using Google docs only and YouTube watching, you can find a used Chromebook for about $50. Have Google accounts setup so they login to their account and saved documents. No more mixed documents and YouTube history. forgot to add with wifi printer, have no issues printing.

N3350 is not a good everyday laptop, unless you want to be torture.

Who would still use computer with Celeron processor these days? Isn't that dinosaur technology already?
Old people, kids, people who want something for YouTube when not at home, but don't want their phone for YouTube. If it has m.2 available it'd be a really decent machine. Usb c port too.

But, you can get a chromebook for well under this price. However, it's all a matter of perspective.

No, Celeron is a value based CPU product line. Intel does not use old technology when making the Celeron, they down clock and leave out/disable performance features of their more expensive chips (Pentium/ i series).

Celeron is just a name for an Intel economy processor. They use it for both their ultramobile processor line (formerly Atom) and stripped down versions of their laptop processor lines.

I don't know about the Lenovo but my grandmother was using a similar spec HP Stream and it was god-awful slow. She just needed something for the usual web surfing (facebook, youtube) and complained that it was barely useable. I gave her an old dell laptop running a 3rd gen i5 and she loves it compated to the N3350 celeron.

That's like saying "who would buy a Dodge Charger? Isn't that car like 50 years old?"

Well, yeah, but they also make new ones now. The Celerons today aren't the same ones from 15 years ago, just the name is the same.

In order word, you have nothing to contribute as you have no clue WTF you're talking about....so if you can share where you come up with a intel Gen 7 processor laptop for $250, please share with the rest of us...

otherwise stop trolling in the future....

first off, delete all the bloat ware which would help. also most of hte hp streams only have 32 gb hard drive and if you are lucky have 4gb memory...there are ways to speed up windows...just google it..

decent price for a 4gb/64 basic laptop, but worried about the n3350
better to get something with the n3450 or a n4100 mini pc if you don't need to laptop form factor
