This is what i found in AMEX offer:

Offer valid for in-store and online purchases at US Supermarkets. "Supermarket" means a standalone merchant in the US primarily selling supermarket products. Excludes gasoline purchases. Specialty food stores, Superstores or Warehouse Clubs are not considered Supermarket stores. Offer is non-transferable. Limit $20 in total statement credits per American Express® online account. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 9/30/2018, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.

Additionally, anything that codes as 'merchandise & supplies - groceries,' and isn't sub-coded as something like 'misc. food store' or something that deviates from a grocery store.

Even Walmart Neighborhood Market qualifies (but regular Walmart doesn't.)

Used this offer myself.

For anyone wondering, it works at Aldi and Sprouts across multiple transactions.
