Midwest/Northern US Lowes Stores: Troy-Bilt TB200 21-in Self-propelled Gas Lawn Mower (Clearance YMMV) $134.5

This appears to vary quite a bit based on geographic location, but I checked several metro areas in the Northern US and the $134.50 clearance price seems to appear at a few stores in several major metro areas. It's YMMV but if you find a local store with it, it looks like you can order it online for store pickup.

Examples:

Plymouth, MN 14
Maple Grove, MN 1
Southwest Omaha, NE 3
1360 North Ashland Ave Chicago, IL 1
Avon, OH 1
Helena, MT 1
Bozeman, MT 3
Kalispell, MT 7
Manitowoc, WI 3

To be clear, this is *NOT* a site-wide discount and appears to be select stores clearing these out for the winter season. I checked a sampling of Southern/Western US stores, where it seems to be full price.

If you can find it, this is an absolute steal of a price for a self-propelled bagging mower from a major brand. The only real flaw is that the self-propelled feature is not variable speed as it is on other models.

Bloomfield Township, MI has some in stock at this price. Bought one yesterday. About 4 left on shelf.

This is only 150cc, I have tried 163cc and it die like crazy when mowing my grass.

And isn't it harder with the front wheel drive?

Right, I think a fair description would be a mid-grade push mower with a good (Briggs) but small-ish (150cc) engine and bare-bones self-propel.

Still, it's a good value given what it is -- the clearance price is only $5 more than THIS 0cc beauty:

Definitely some around me in WA. I want to get in on it, but have a decent mower without push. Wondering if the upgrade is worth it!

Lowes is 30 day returns on OPE returned in like-new condition. You could always buy it, keep it in the box, and list your current mower on Craigslist for $75-100. If it sells at that price, self-propel is absolutely worth the net cost.

Got one in Olympia, WA. Used a $20 off coupon, $125 out the door. Thanks OP, this should be better than the Murray I'm currently using.

Guess you convinced me. A brand new mower should be better than the one I have now anyway. Repped!
