FYI if you aren't an electrician, and always have something plugged into the outlet, you can get this instead:

https://smile.amazon.com/Intelect...B01N4UATRF

It's basically a flat sleeve that passively powers the USB ports. No installation needed, just plug something "through" it and it will hold itself up on the wall.

I personally have 1, and been waiting for a price-drop for quite some time.

I've had it for almost 2 years now, and works awesome in my kitchen, which is why I'm buying it again.

Edit: feels great having my first post here, and it reached front page.

Costco online has a better deal from fiet electric
https://www.costco.com/Feit-Elect...84764.html

You can also get 2 pack at costco instore version for $ 15.00 (shown in sep coupon book as well)

Either gcfi outlets or gcfi breaker. You are only supposed to have one gcfi on a circuit.

Any reviews on these outlets? Was in HD yesterday and checking out these outlets and they go for about 21-22 a piece.

I have 4 installed(bought for $13 apiece) and will be buying 3 right now and will buy more in the future until all outlets in my house are completely changed

It's worth considering that USB-C is going to overtake USB-A, though that'll be pretty far in the future. Also, it may be smarter to get a surge protector (some are very compact) with USB ports, if your home isn't protected at the breaker box.

Don't you have the GCFI outlets in your kitchen? Do these work with GCFI?

Idk the name but does this work with an older outlet that only has 2 strips of cables to attach and not 4 like some of the newer ones?
