$50 for a USB-C 2tb Portable drive seems like a steal. Any feedback from anyone who has this? Any reason this wouldn't be suited for just a regular backpack HDD?

Im just researching as well. I think the majority of the poor reviews are stemming from misleading advertising. I think people are expecting this to do automatic back-ups of SD cards without a computer- when in reality it's really just a built in card reader.

As far as i can tell, if you need just a regular hard drive, this is a perfectly respectable portable drive. I purchased 2. One for my office bag and another for my xbox.

Exactly, all the reviews with normal expectations seem to like it just fine.

Thanks op, needed two HDs.

I would have given this drive a bad review too for misleading advertisement and at $120... but at $50, it is a very slick deal.

You still need a laptop in the field if you want to transfer from card to drive. Defeats the purpose, no wonder this didn't sell well. Canceling my order

This is just bizarre — advertising a card slot with NO connection to the hard drive is like saying your TV has built-in speakers but only works if you plug them into an AV system.

Decent drive at $50, though.

Well it is sort of, seeing as it comes with DJI branding and all but kind of misleading wording there. You do need to lug your computer on the field.
