Well a shower is basically a sink that I can stand in. Doesnt mean I don't want it.

Paid $125.99 ( and $20 cash back ) in earlier Kohl's deal on 7/17/18.

When I used some force to turn off, right most knob broke next day ! ( Common complaint on Amazon reviews )

Was able to exchange in Kohls though. We avoid turning the left and right most knobs (pneumatic timers), instead keep the door open to shut off. Knobs slowly turn back to normal position.

Burnt fries and peanuts a few times. Yes, need to reduce temp by 50 deg and use your own timers or get some practice on those lousy pneumatic timers.

Don't expect wonderful results, keep your expectations bit low, then you will enjoy 😊.
Potato frozen fries with no oil come up so good !! And peanuts too .. Also liked some other veggi fries.. Some failures too. Overall we like it, though we wish accurate electronic timers and temp settings..

Amazing what they continue to do with the "air fryer" moniker (honestly impressed, as a marketer). Air fryers are basically just ovens that use a fan.. I'd just get a quality convection oven.

I bought this and the Panasonic FlashXpress toaster to do a head to head a couple months ago, even though they are different beasts, I ultimately didn't want two appliances, and I primarily wanted a toaster.

The Panasonicis pretty impressive, so fast. Ultimately we kept this Cuisinart because it makes toast just as well though slightly slower than the Panasonic and the air-frying functionality and larger capacity mean we can use it for a lot of things we formerly fired up the oven for.

Many reviews mention that this runs hot, and I'm not sure if it's that or the timer being inaccurate, but I often run it significantly lower temp than air-frying directions suggest and kept a close eye on food cooking until I got used to it.

The app won't let me apply the extra 25% off. Says the offer is not eligible with the order.

I bought this about two months back, and I've sent back two replacements to Cuisinart and the third is no better. I honestly cannot figure this machine out. Mainly want it for bake and convection bake, and everything burns on the outside without being cooked on the inside. So many good reviews, but I don't want something where I'm forced to babysit and keep burning food just to figure out what temp/time this actually needs.

See pics here.

Good price though!

I have a good convection oven and this Cuisinart, it is not the same. It seems like Air-fryers move air a lot faster than convection ovens, and that makes the difference. In addition, something like this comes with an air-frying basket. I thought it might just be marketing wank, but now I'm a big fan. I wouldn't get a standalone air-fryer, but having similar functionality in a toaster oven is handy.

An air fryer does typically require much greater air circulation, and heating coils to keep up, than your average convection oven. I have this oven and it works great. When set to convection, the fan doesn't run as high, and the oven runs at lower wattage than when in air fryer mode.

LOL! Simple mino3. An "air fryer" is a convection oven with a fan that spins FASTER!!!

Seriously though... if you look at it, it's a huge fan. The reason it looks so top heavy is because that whole top section is a fan that blows down and 4 heating elements instead of the standard 2. Other than that, science takes care of itself. It's solid. I love mine, but it does make easier to make poor choices. I eat a lot more fried food now. Frown
