I bought the 2TB for $54 when it was on sale, so $40 for 1TB is pricey to me.

2tb drives are always going to be relatively cheaper than 1tb drives. This is the cheapest this drive has ever been an amazon and there hasn't been a single 1tb drive for less than $40 all year posted to slickdeals. 2tb drives are a better value but this is a good deal for a 1tb drive

The blue one is the same price.
Black doesn't refer to the type of drive inside.

I have two of these for my Wii U syatem, one for gamecube/wii games and another for just Wii U games as they run use different hdd format types. They seem to run just fine, you just need a Y cable as the Wii U ports dont put out enough voltage singularly.
