So I just moved into a 1 bedroom apartment, the kitchen is not huge. I was wondering an Instant Pot 6 QT to cover slow cooking and rice cooking duties, but I'm scared this 8 QT may be too big. It's just me and my girlfriend, you think the 6 QT is worth waiting for? I might just get a $30-40 dedicated rice cooker for now.
I have also seen 6 qt go on sale regularly. Have not much seen 3 qt sale

Buy through etailmenot dot com, they will send you $15 (off $75) through paypal. I got $15 cash back last time when Kohls has same on 8qt one. My net cost was only $41 after kohl's cash.

You can combine it with text 15% off to make it $61.5 plus Kohl's cash.
buy what through retailmenot?

We scored one of these early last year for 69 bucks and thought it was a great buy at that time.
The unit right out of box didnt want to hold the pressure as it was leaking from release valve. I called support and they listened over phone as it was hissing and told me customer service would contact me via email. I was able to finish cooking my corned beef after replenishing water a few times in cooker. A few days pass and email comes and asks me to go through all these procedures and I send off a quick response that tech support put me through everything and even listened on phone as unit hissed out all my pressure. Email came back with an apology and an order number for a new replacement unit which was sent by FedEx. Also advised me as they didnt want old unit returned to remove all parts which come off to keep as replacements if needed and also to find recycle center locally for main unit afterwards. A few days go by and my wife was playing with this unit before taking off all the parts she could and she puts water in it and starts it up and lo and behold it holds pressure. Seems this idiot didnt quite set it right when closing before starting it up. New unit arrives and we open it and TEST it and all is ok. Still using old unit which works quite well.
Makes great corned beef and scrumptious shrimp scampi as well as these amazing spare ribs

It looks like the 15% code is the same for all? Ending in 22S? Might be generic for everyone.

I'd recommend going to a store to see in person because the 6qt is pretty large. I was tempted to get an 8qt until I saw how big the 6qt is

8QT is not too big and I would actually recommend it over the 6QT. It's a pressure cooker so you can cook small volumes of food in it and still get even results. It's great for rice cooking duties, just have to lower your water:rice ratio to be just slightly under 1:1. With the 8QT it also opens up some recipes you can't do in the 6QT such as big beef ribs/shanks, whole chickens, whole squash, without eating up much more space than the 6QT (most of the additional volume is height).
