MSI 1080 TI Gaming on eBay $644.98

You can grab a new MSI 1080 TI Gaming from Newegg's Ebay store for the final price of $644.98 including shipping by using the code "PICKSOON." Pretty decent price for this card IMO. Current price of $739.99 at the Newegg eBay store. Code is good until 9pm EST so if you have any other card in mind that might be in stock, now is the time.

It's nice to see a reputable seller getting lower. Still holding out for the 550/500 price range though. Pretty sure it's coming in the next month.

You can get a 1080 ti for 650 without any code from other sites. Waiting for a better deal when ebay code brings it down below 600 as occurred in July
But I missed that deal

RTX 2080 is the future. Why waste money buying old tech?
We're still waiting for rtx benchmarks, there are won't be any reason to pay $150 more for a 2080 if turning rtx on lowers performance

Bro ferraris are the future, why you still buying a pinto? The reasons are obvious as day. What an odd thing for your brain to formulate

That's silly a better analogy would be self driving cars are the future.

No, a 2080 is not intended for gaming, a 1080ti IS. So my analogy is actually correct.

Unless you have an 8k TV, a 1080ti is sufficient. The premium for a 2080 makes sense if you plan to use its deep learning capabilities, for games makes no sense. Like buying that Ferrari but only being allowed on side streets.

Intended to grab a 1080 Ti but those sellers are marking up the price to a rediculous point.

I was just trolling originally as a 1080 Ti owner and I think the RTX cards in their current state are overpriced and useless BUT it is clear you are not a 1080 Ti owner or you don't game at 4K since you don't know the struggles of trying to run recent releases at 4K.

The 1080 Ti is more a 1440p card or if you do what I do...a 3880x1600p card but it is not a 4K card and the RTX is barely a 4K card in it's current state.

I bought a 1070ti on the Amazon day sale, paired with a 6700k I play GTA5 on max settings on a 40inch 4k tv... while I know there are more demanding games, the cost here doesnt start to make sense, unless ofcourse. You HAVE to have it... not having AA will not kill 99.9% of us...

GTA V is really old and CPU bound and not a good example. The new Shadow of the Tomb Raider game is a much better and more well balanced test given it's good optimization. Also AA at 4K is generally pointless as it just blurs the sharp image at that point.
