Sort of related, does wired vs wireless make a noticeable difference. Coming from an Xbox one, not many people are picking wires controllers over wireless that I've noticed.

Perhaps I'm old school, but always trusted the reliability and response rate of a wired mouse when gaming.

Also interesting, is that most (all?) professional Starcraft players use wired mouses.

If your salary depends on performance, I would trust a wired mouse over the wireless type. Otherwise, it's just a preference.

I have one from last deal and it does the job. The only real complaint I have is that it's only 1 dpi toggle button that cycles and if you're playing Overwatch the software gives a runtime error when you cycle the dpi. Also, the thing stays on while the computer is off so if the lights bug you then you need to togggle the lights in the software.

I have this mouse (love it) and the lights go out for me when my PC goes to sleep. I don't allow my mouse to wake my PC, so maybe that's why the lights go out for me and not you?
