Keep in mind that the higher model UK6300 was rated as the absolute worst picture quality of any TV in 2018 by rtings. I can't even imagine how you much worse it could get, but I guess if you buy this TV, you will find out first hand.

Didn't this model just only recently release?

Yes, that is why there are no reviews. The closest TV in the LGs lineup to compare to is their current UK6300 model (released early this year). The UK6300 was the lowest model, until this TV was released. The UK6300 is currently rated as the worst picture quality of any TV in 2018.

This model, UK6090, is even lower in the LG lineup than their current lowest model. It will likely be similar to the UK6300 or worse.

you just saved me a bunch of time hunting for reviews. I couldnt find any either. Microcenter has them for $599 right now. I own a ten year old LG plasma that is a fantastic TV. It also has the best speaker of any TV I've experienced. uses too much power though. Still, it has given me a positive opinion of LG. But 600 duckets for non-black friday 65" 4k tv? I guess it was too good to be true. thanks so much!! repped

while I have your attention (if I do), larger TV's don't come with rotating bases anymore (at least the cheaper ones). I understand why but do you have any suggestions for a quality item that would resolve this issue? this tv would be in the family room and meathead wants it pointed towards him while playing fortnight and his mom and I want it turned toward us to watch netflix etc. I know turntables exist but didnt know if you had an opinion. I know its off topic but you seem to be more abreast of TV's than I am since I haven't really been in the market lately.

Thanks!

Ever consider a wall mount? There are tons of articulating wall mounts that will let you easily turn the TV to any seating position.

There are swivel stands on Amazon and Monoprice, I just do not have any experience in using one.

yes. used to have one but that limited movement too much. We rotate it quite far when meathead is playing Fortnight vs when we want to watch a movie etc. Thank though!

We bought this TV yesterday for $485 plus tax at Target with the one day extra discount they did. The picture on this TV is really good. I have no idea how anyone can say it is the worst picture.

Make sure that if you get this TV you turn off the Energy savings and let the back light shine full brightness, then it's a superb picture
